An Easter Story
An
Easter Story
As
they took Him to the Pavement, to the scourging post,
Satan,
and his evil disciples were rejoicing with wicked excitement.
As
the demons guided every blow of the Roman guard to the body of Christ
They
shouted in vicious victory, as Jesus shouted in agonizing pain.
The
demons leaped on the unholy crowd, inciting a dark and evil riot,
They
hurled blasphemies, cursing, and unimaginable hate towards the
Savior.
And
all the time, Satan is holding his side in laughter
Saying,
“I have won! I have won! I have won!”
The
demons clung to the whip as it tore open the flesh of Christ
They
shouted, “Again! Again! Again!” as the guard flung the whip at
Jesus
The
flesh of Jesus hung in strands from His body
Exposing
organs, bones and tissue
The
Father held back His mighty army, for they were ready for war.
They
stood back in disbelief thinking, “Why is our King allowing this to
happen?”
With
swords drawn and ready for the command,
The
Father says to His Angels, “Stand down. My Son is fighting, He will
conquer!”
A
crown of thorns was twisted and shoved with force on His head
The
guards and the demons bowed to Jesus in evil mockery.
The
crowd evilly cheered and shouted, “Crucify Him!”
They
cried ever louder, “Give us the man of sin! Kill the Man that
heals!”
As
they led Jesus to the Place of the Skull, the demons kept hurling
insults
They
possessed the bodies of the unholy crowd, so that the hate increased.
The
cross Jesus carried, was made of, envy, hate and wickedness.
Though
a symbol of death, became a symbol of life.
As
they nailed Jesus to the cross, the demons shouted, “It’s really
happening!”
As
they dropped the cross into the ground Satan grinned an evil grin
The
day turned dark as the Father turned away and Satan kept eyes fixed
For
Jesus gave up His Spirit as He shouted, “Paid in full!”
Jesus
died, Hell rejoiced, people awed, the Angels gasped, the Father Knew
As
the demons celebrated, Jesus walked through hell proclaiming victory
“We
won Jesus, we won!” yelled the demons
“I
Am leaving and I Am taking these with me!” Jesus said, grabbing the
keys
The
Father released the Angels, they rolled away the stone that covered
His grave
They
made sure the soldiers didn’t wake up and proclaimed He has risen
The
Fathers plan worked, and the Son now lives
Jesus
rose, Hell gasped, people awed, Angels rejoiced, the Father knew
Selah,
