Willfully Forget

Willfully Forget

For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
2Pe 3:5 (NKJV)
For they want to be oblivious of this, that there were heavens of old, and an earth cohering out of water and through water, by the word of God;"
2Pe 3:5 (CLV)
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of Elohim the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:5 (WOY)

By their will, they forget. By their own will they are ignorant. By their own free will, they choose not to believe. Everyone, in their heart of hearts know that Yah, Our Father God exists and that He created all things. They see the design and the precision of creation, and they see the flaws of evolution and Atheism. So, people have to force themselves by their own free will to forget and to be oblivious about Yah and creation.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
Rom 1:20 (NKJV)
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Rom 1:20 (NLT)
By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse.
Rom 1:20 (MSG)

No one, not one can or will be able to say, “I didn’t know.” Though some, willfully forget. Willingly are ignorant. Deliberately blot out from their mind all knowledge of Yah. Yet, all are without excuse.
